DB-5 GC Columns from Agilent Technologies

Agilent (J&W) DB-5 is a general purpose phase suitable for a wide variety of applications.  The DB-5 phase is non-polar, low bleed and has a high temperature limit.  A number of modified phases are available to allow for different uses, including GC/MS and trace level analysis.

DB-5 GC Columns.

Agilent J&W DB-5 is non-polar and low bleed, available in a range of column dimensions. DB-5 is also bonded, cross-linked and solvent-rinsable and has a high temperature limit. It is equivalent to USP phase G27. The DB-5 column is tested with the tightest industry QC specifications for column bleed, sensitivity, and efficiency.

DB-5ms GC Columns

Agilent J&W DB-5ms features an excellent signal-to-noise ratio for analytical applications. This improved performance gives better sensitivity and mass spectral integrity. What's more, DB-5ms delivers excellent inertness with active compounds. These columns are exact replacements for HP-5TA, and are close equivalents to USP phase G27. DB-5ms is very low bleed, making it ideal for GC/MS.

DB-5ms EVDX GC Columns

Agilent J&W DB-5ms EVDX columns are specially configured and tested for the confirmational analysis of drugs of abuse. The column test mix includes caffeine, glutethimides, lidocaine, phenobarbital, EDDP, methaqualone, methadone, cocaine, desipramine, and carbamazepine. The columns operate from -60 to 325/350 °C. With consistent retention and peak shapes, and testing to strict industry QC standards, DB-5ms EVDX columns deliver the level of performance needed in a range of applications.

DB-5ht GC Columns

Agilent J&W DB-5ht nonpolar columns are manufactured from (5%-phenyl)-methylpolysiloxane. They deliver high levels of performance in a variety of analytical processes. High temperature limits of -60 to 400 °C result from precision-engineered polyimide-coated fused silica tubing. DB-5ht columns are also bonded, cross-linked, and solvent rinsable, and feature faster elution times for high boilers.

DB-5.625 GC Columns

Agilent J&W DB-5.625 nonpolar, bonded columns are specially processed for excellent inertness and selectivity as a standard column for EPA semivolatile methods 625, 1625, 8270, and CLP protocols. The DB-5.625 features high temperature limits with excellent thermal stability and low bleed. Special tested to reliably surpass EPA performance criteria for semivolatiles. The columns are inert and neutral for effective use with basic, neutral and acidic compounds, and are also solvent rinsable.
