CP-Sil 5 CB GC Columns

Agilent J&W CP-Sil 5 CB is a high efficiency column containing a 100% dimethylpolysiloxane phase. Separation is almost entirely based on boiling points, making this column suitable for a wide range of applications with a broad temperature range. Due to intensive cross-linking, CP-Sil 5 CB is highly inert and withstands large solvent injections, guaranteeing reproducibility and ensuring maximum column lifetime. For the highest operating temperatures, use our UltiMetal columns.
  • 100% Dimethylpolysiloxane
  • Non-polar
  • General purpose phase
  • Bonded, cross-linked and solvent rinsable
  • Separation almost entirely based on boiling points, making this column suitable for a wide range of applications with a broad temperature range
  • Available in Fused Silica or UltiMetal to maximize choice

CP-Sil 5 CB-ms GC Columns

Agilent J&W CP-Sil 5 CB-ms is a high efficiency column containing a 100% dimethylpolysiloxane phase. GC/MS columns are specifically designed to chromatograph a broad range of trace-level samples, and offer low bleed and high inertness.
  • 100% Dimethylpolysiloxane
  • Non-polar
  • Optimized for GC/MS applications

CP-Sil 5 CB for Formaldehyde GC Columns

Agilent J&W CP-Sil 5 CB for Formaldehyde is optimized for the analysis of formaldehyde, water and methanol, and can deliver trace analysis of sulfur compounds and partial permanent gases (especially in switching systems). The nonpolar phase provides accurate separations based on volatility.
  • Optimized for analysis of formaldehyde, water and methanol
  • Trace analysis of sulfur compounds possible
  • Partial permanent gas analysis possible (especially in switching systems)
  • Non-polar phase provides accurate separations based on volatility
  • High inertness, elutes sulfur components without absorption for high quality data and low detection limits
  • Highest efficiency for this apolar column with the thickest film

CP-Sil 5 CB for Sulfur GC Columns

Agilent J&W CP-Sil 5 CB for Sulfur is optimized for the analysis of volatile sulfur compounds, with trace analysis of sulfur compounds to C7 mercaptan for high productivity. The column is a nonpolar phase that gives accurate separations based on volatility. Its high inertness elutes sulfur dioxide for high quality data and low detection limits.
  • Optimized for analysis of Volatile Suflur Compounds
  • Trace analysis of volatile sulfur compounds to C7 mercaptan for higher productivity
  • Non-polar phase providing accurate results based on volatility
  • High inertness, elutes SO2 for high quality data and low detection limits

CP-Sil 5/C18 CB for PCB GC Columns

Agilent J&W CP-Sil 5/C18 CB for PCB has a lower polarity than 100% polydimethylsiloxane due to its C18 substitutions. With an absence of cyano groups, the column provides high signal-to-noise ratios for ECD detectors. The 100 m column separates critical isomer pairs: 28/31, 56/60, 149/118, 105/153/132 and 170/190.
  • Engineered for high resolution PCB analysis
  • Lower polarity than 100% polydimethylpolysiloxane due to its C18 substitution
  • Provides high signal-to-noise ratios for ECD detectors
  • Optimized column length for separation of critical isomer pairs: 28/31, 56/60, 149/118, 105/153/132 and 170/190
