DB-WAX GC Columns
Agilent J&W DB-WAX is ideal for food, fragrance, and flavor applications. The column's lower temperature limit of 20 °C improves resolution of analytes with low boiling points.- Polyethylene glycol (PEG)
- Close equivalent to USP Phase G16
- High polarity
- Lower temperature limit of 20 °C is lowest of any bonded PEG phase; improves resolution of low boiling point analytes
- Column-to-column repeatability
- Bonded and cross-linked; solvent rinsable
- Exact replacement of HP-WAX
Similar Phases: SUPELCOWAX 10, SUPEROX II, CB-WAX, Stabilwax, BP-20, 007-CW, Carbowax, Rtx-WAX, ZB-WAX, ZB-WAX plus
DB-WAXetr GC Columns
Agilent J&W DB-WAXetr is a high polarity polyethylene glycol (PEG) column for the analysis of alcohols, solvents, benzenes, styrenes, and organic acids, among others. DB-WAXetr has excellent column-to-column repeatability and provides fast and accurate operation within temperature limits of 30 to 260/280 °C. The column is also closely equivalent to USP phase G16.- Polyethylene glycol (PEG)
- High polarity
- Extended temperature range (etr)
- Excellent column-to-column repeatability
- Bonded, cross-linked and solvent rinsable
- Equivalent to USP Phase G16
- Exact replacement of HP-WAX
Similar Phases: SUPELCOWAX 10, SUPEROX II, CB-WAX, Stabilwax, BP-20, 007-CW, Carbowax, Rtx-WAX, ZB-WAX, ZB-WAX plus
DB-WAX FF GC Columns
Agilent J&W DB-WAX FF is a highly reproducible microbore version of our regular DB-WAX column. It has also been specially tested to insure maximum column-to-column reproducibility. DB-WAX FF is an excellent column for the separation of complex fragrances.- Polyethylene glycol (PEG)
- Equivalent to USP Phase G16
- High polarity
- Lower temperature limit of 20 °C is lowest of any bonded PEG phase; improves resolution of low boiling point analytes
- Column-to-column reproducibility
- Bonded and cross-linked and solvent rinsable
- Exact replacement of HP-WAX
- DB-Wax FF is a highly reproducible, specially tested microbore DB-Wax for fragrance analysis
Similar Phases: SUPELCOWAX 10, SUPEROX II, CB-WAX, Stabilwax, BP-20, 007-CW, Carbowax, Rtx-WAX, ZB-WAX, ZB-WAX plus
DB-WAX Ultra Inert GC Columns
DB-WAX Ultra Inert (UI) represents the ultimate performance of PEG stationary phase inertness because it provides symmetric peak shape and improved response for challenging polar compounds. All DB-WAX UI columns are individually tested with an Ultra Inert Wax test probe mixture according to the strictest industry QC standards. This ensures consistent column to column inertness performance for challenging active analytes such as free fatty acids, alcohols, diols, and aldehydes with minimal compound adsorption or degradation. Having the same selectivity as Agilent J&W DB-WAX makes upgrading to Ultra Inert performance easy with minimal validation when switching to DB-WAX UI. No need to recreate or modify existing compound libraries that are based on DB-WAX selectivity.- Improved peakshape for challenging polar compounds
- Reliable column to column inertness performance
- Equivalent bonded polyethylene glycol (PEG) selectivity as DB-WAX; no method revalidation needed
- High polarity; equivalent to USP G16
- Excellent performance for acidic compounds including free fatty acids – no need for FFAP type column
- Bonded and crosslinked phase is solvent rinse able and tolerates aqueous injections
Similar Phases: Stabilwax DA, Stabilwax ms, Rtx-WAX, ZB-WAX plus, ZB-WAX, ZB-WAX F&F, Purewax, SupelcoWAX 10, SPB-1000, Superox II, MegaWax, BP-20, 007-CW, Carbowax
DB-FATWAX Ultra Inert GC Columns
DB-FATWAX Ultra Inert (UI) is an application-specific PEG-type GC column designed for the separation of fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs), fatty acid ethyl esters (FAEEs), and fatty acids. This column is tested with a FAME mixture to ensure reproducible FAME equivalent chain length (ECL) values, proper identification of important FAMEs such as EPA, DPA, and DHA, and resolution of key pairs of FAMEs.- Application-specific columns for FAMEs, FAEEs, and fatty acids
- Individually tested with a FAME mixture and Ultra Inert Wax test probe
- Reliable column to column inertness performance
- Improved peak shape for challenging polar compounds such as free fatty acids
- High polarity; equivalent to USP G16
- Bonded and cross-linked phase is solvent rinseable and tolerates aqueous injections
